At Calico, volunteers play an important part in our business, by enhancing the service that we can offer our customers and bringing a different perspective to what we do. Many of our volunteers are ex-service users who help us better understand what our customers’ needs are and how we can best help them.

As a Calico volunteer, you’ll get a full induction to the service, the team and the role, as well as opportunities to take part in training and team building activities. We’ll take the time to understand what you want to get out of volunteering and help you to achieve your goals, through regular supervision and support sessions. If you’re giving your time and commitment to us, we want it to be rewarding for you – it’s important to us that it’s a two way thing!
