Work Well
The aim of WorkWell is to support people with low-level health conditions to start, stay or succeed in work. WorkWell can offer a range of support which includes:
- A personal assessment of your needs to understand what support might work best for your circumstances
- A goal based plan to address your physical, mental wellbeing and social needs to help you return to and/or thrive in work.
- Access and referral to local and community based work & health support services.
- Support your employer to understand your needs & advice on how to provide workplace adjustments that support you. (Employers will only be contacted with your permission).

Fill in referral formTo be eligible you will be either:
- Out of work for 6 months or less and need low-level health-related support to return to work.
OR
- Employed and either absent through sickness or struggling in the workplace due to a low-level health condition.
You must also meet the following criteria:
- Your home address is in Lancashire
- You are over 16*
- You have the right to work in the UK
- Your WorkWell service believes you have a health-related barrier to work.
*16/17-year-olds can only be supported if they are on an apprenticeship (i.e. employed) and off work with a fit note. Service does not provide support for those in education or with part-time jobs as legally up to 18 they should be in full-time education or a full-time apprenticeship.
