WorkWell Burnley is celebrating some brilliant news after achieving an outstanding 97.22% customer satisfaction rating based on feedback received from local customers.
The service, which opened in November 2024, has already supported 609 people across the borough, helping them move closer to work, stay in work or return to work after illness.
The team works with a wide range of individuals: people who are unemployed and hoping to find a job, people who are in work but struggling with their health or wellbeing, and those who are currently off work with a fit note, aiming to return to their role. Many customers have now moved into work or successfully returned to their jobs, and the team say they are incredibly proud of what people have achieved.
After eight weeks on the programme, customers are invited to share their thoughts about their experience. They can do this anonymously, during an appointment or over the phone; whatever feels most comfortable.
Staff say the openness and honesty people share have stood out the most, adding that every comment is valued. It helps them understand the positive difference the service is making but also where they can continue to improve.

For the people behind WorkWell, this achievement reflects the care, dedication and commitment they bring to supporting people’s wellbeing and employment journeys.
Christopher Lofthouse, Senior Work & Health Coach, spoke of his pride: “I am incredibly proud of what our team has achieved so far, but even more proud of the journeys our customers have been on. Every bit of feedback we receive, good or bad, helps us grow.
“We care deeply about the people we support, and we are committed to giving them the best possible experience. This is not just a job to us. It is a chance to make a real difference in someone’s life.”
